RedHat has a lot of patched in the kernel already. Take a look at the
kernel source RPMs.

Hey folks, I'm a software-raid newbie so go easy. :-)
I'm testing a very minimal 2-disk RAID-1 to get a hang of the failure
recovery mechanisms, and I've run across a problem.
/etc/raidtab
raiddev /dev/md0
raid-level 1
persistent-superblock 1
chunk-size 1

The RAID patches will NOT patch cleanly (nor will much else)

Sorry if this question has already been answered in the past - I'm
relative new to this list and to Linux...
I'm using software-RAID Level 0 with kernel 2.2.11 and the correspon-
ding raidpatch (raid0145-19990824-2.2.11) and the newest raid-
tools 0.90 (raidtools-19990824-0.90.tar).

Hi all,
I need help setting up an old RAID system with new RAIDtools:
The machine I'm working with previously had Redhat 4.2 installed on it
with a striped RAID. The OS has been upgraded to Redhat 6.1, but I can't
get the new set of raidtools to read the old RAID.
When the two devices are comp
