AW: cdrecord crash, raid+SMP+IDE related?

Hi everyone, I'm using a SCSI Yamaha CD-Writer copying data off of a SCSI RAID5 (3x SCSI 4Gb Disks on a 2nd SCSI Controller). I'm using the xcdroast front-end with the included cdrecord 1.6.1 and mkiofs 1.12b4, and have burned several CDs without any problems. The SCSI Raid is a patched 2.2.11

Which kernel version are you using?? Have you patched it with the latest RAID patches? I'm running a stock rh 6.0 install. Where can i look to autodetect and start my raid arrays?
