How to shutdown a computer properly so that the
raid5 will sync properly during shutdown?

Hi,
Everytime i do a shutdown or
reboot of the system, the raid 5 array
do not sync properly. The reconstruction will only
take place
after i boot up again. Is there anyway to force it
to do a raid5 sync properly
during shutdown. Thank you.
Hi all,
I running a 4 disk raid 5 array using the
standard version of redhat 6.2 without any patches
or watsoever. When ever i do a reboot or shutdown -h 0,
the next time it startsup, the raid array will report
that it did not unmount cleanly? What is the problem?
