Hi As far as I know, you are right concerning the [U_] - it shows you, that the first drive is up and the second one is down; if both were up (up to date) you will got a [UU]. The [2/1] does indicate nearly the same I think; maybe I am wrong, but that is how I understand /proc/mdstat. Would be

hello... im looking for a guide to some things in /proc/mdstat. specifically, i have a line that says: md0 : active raid1 sdc1[2] sdb1[0] 8883840 blocks [2/1] [U_] recovery=1% finish=9.9 minutes. i gather this in general represents something like: : [recovery/resync completion and time r
