Upgrading RAID

I have a couple of RAID1 partitions which I set up using the RAID stuff that comes with Redhat-5.2. (I think just vanilla 2.0.36 raid + raidtools 0.50 beta 10) Now I'd like to upgrade to patch-1999.03.09 and accompanying raidtools since I'm told that this version is not only much more

Is there a procedure for adding more drives to a RAID system and increasing the size of the partitions? We have mylex Accellaraid 250's (sp?) driving the RAID. I am a little lost as to how to do it. I mean when and if the Mysql server ever breaks 10-12 gig of data I would like to have an easy
