Hi, a few months ago there were reports of problems using raid with SMP
machines.
Is this still the case, im having trouble even booting with my bp6 dual
celery with SMP and raid v0.9 and kernel 2.2.14 with mingo's patch and
the ide patch.
Anyone playin with SMP raid ?

I'm running a BP6 with two Celeron 300A CPUs clocked at 463MHz on a 103MHz

i have 8 smp machines (dual p3 450mhz, 512M ram) using intel mb with onboard
ncr876 scsi, and two 9gig quantums in each. running software raid1 on all of
the disk, except small swap and /boot partition on each disk. using kernel
2.2.12 with the 2.2.11 alpha raid patch.

drive heavily (like cat /dev/zero somefile) my system virtually freezes
up. This includes mouse, keyboard, everything. Eventually it comes back when
