I have no issues on A10 & A20 with "/dev/nand"(whole device) formatted as
btrfs(with compression), 6 month working setup with 3.4.79/103.
Nand used as storage for Gentoo portage and synced daily(cron).
Mele A100/M3.

I have Mele A100(A10) and M3(A20), with identical IR and remotes.
I have followed instructions from this page - http://linux-sunxi.org/LIRC, IR
works, but "sunxi-ir" ignores long key press ...
For example - you will have problematic forward/rewind in mplayer .
Run "cat /dev/input/you_ir_device
Why open source u-boot can't work with nand ?
Almost all Allwinner devices have NAND, it's good idea to use SD card for
testing and recovery .
But when all works fine on SD, then better move it to nand and forget .
Seems strange that no clear solution for now - how use nand as boot & root.

Wiki on linux-sunxi.org probably cover only A10 .

For now i have a choice of :
Mele A100/1000/2000 firmware - dram_clk=360Mhz(slow)
Cubieboard2 firmware - dram_clk=480Mhz(unstable with high load)
