I have a Microsoft SideWinder GameVoice. It seems to work fine in 2.4.20-pre5-ac4 (I don't use it for anything though). However under 2.5.40 if the device is plugged in during boot it causes an oops. If the device is plugged in after bootup has completed it does not seem to cause an oops. Here
