Hi
I am working on a mips SOC platform with USB 2.0 host controller

I just kicked off a kernel build with the right config for my laptop

I have a few other computers I can try if we need to.

Hi,
I am using MV Linux 2.6.10 and I am using USB for debug messages.
I was using FTDI chip based usb to serial converter without any
issues. Recently I got a IOGEAR ATEN UC 232A (Prolific chip based) usb
to serial converter and for some reason I do not see any messages on
my PC serial port :(
It doesn't appear to have hit your debug code but I am sure I built it
into the driver.

Attached dmesg may explain what is happening.
I renamed all my sound and usb input modules so that they wouldn't
load at boot. I then manually modprobe'd usbhid in.
The device implements two profiles, sound and hid. How is error
processing going to work if both of these modules attach to the dev

Hi,
By applying this patch on kernel 2.6.19.1 the effect is the opposite on
some Network Cards.
The Hardware I used to test it was 'D-Link DUB-E100 Rev. B1' and 'D-Link
DUB-E100 Rev. B1 Alternate'. It works without the patch, and stops
working after applying it.
The Network Card is detected, the

Allow hid devices with HID_QUIRK_MULTI_INPUT to have force feedback.
This was previously disabled because there were not any force
feedback drivers for such devices. This will change with my upcoming
patch.

These three patches fix PantherLord USB/PS2 2in1 Adapter support
so that it appears as two input devices, and add force feedback
support for it.

Add new quirk HID_QUIRK_SKIP_OUTPUT_REPORTS to skip output reports
when enumerating reports on a hid-input device. Add this quirk and
HID_QUIRK_MULTI_INPUT to 0810:0001.

Hi Greg,
this removes the module parameter. The whole approach is simply wrong.
Forking a thread means that
- errors are ignored
- locking is ignored
Doing this correctly would require major surgery for questionable benefit.
