I'm really not an expert on USB Human Interface Devices. But probably the
best first step would be for you to edit the drivers/usb/input/hid-core.c
file. Near the start are tw

Hi,
Here is the dmesg output of a disconnect and then connect. I'm running
on 2.6.10-rc1 with USB_DEBUG on.

hub 4-0:1.0: port 2, status 0100, change 0003, 12 Mb/s

Hi,
I tried this on again on 2.4. The joystick works on the usb-uhci
driver, but not uhci (in 2.4). I guess that usb-uhci is no longer
active in 2.6. I tried removing all my modules except usb, but it
still doesn't work.
Can anyone help on this?
thanks,
andrew

Hi Alan,
I tried upgrading to 2.6.10-rc1, but it didn't help. Over the next few
days, I'm going to try to remove all my modules and only load the
usb/joydev ones to check for any conflict.
Would appreciate any help or other tips that you might have.
thanks,
andrew

Hi,
I have a PSX - USB converter box that used to work under kernel 2.4,
and I recently upgraded to 2.6, and it doesn't work anymore.
Dmesg says:
hub 4-0:1.0: USB hub found
hub 4-0:1.0: 2 ports detected
usb 4-1: new low speed USB device using address 2
usb 4-1: configuration #1 chosen from 2 choi
