Hi-ho,
Basically the problem I have is getting a simple form to work, I want to
ask the user for a number, and then show some data based on that number..
I've started from the start, and just made a form.. Using an emulator

With the Gentoo install fest coming up, I'd like to ask a couple of
silly questions. I've done some research on www.gentoo.org myself, but
some points are still not clear to me, yet.

Hi all!
I'm using Debian (installed via Knoppix 3.2) for a while now and I
really like it. Now I've reached the point where I'd like to compile a
custom kernel for my Nvidia graphics card, but I can't find the source
for my kernel 2.4.20-xfs. I found some posts on the knoppix.net page

What a PITA. I give up. As someone said yesterday, sneakernet to ecaf.

If you have Linux running on a box with an ISO file, then from a cli,
run md5sum /path/to/file/filename. Once the md5sum comes up, compare it
to the one mandrake gives you. If dey donna match den you gotta problemo!!

Md5sum is just a way of creating a "hash" for a file. It's like adding up all the
columns in your check book, the total would be your hash, or "check sum". If the sum
does match the rest of your accounts, then you've made a mistake somewhere.
In this case, something isn't adding up. Either th

Thanks for your advice... I dloaded the md5sum from ftp.debian.co.nz that
was with the MDK9.1 files. I googled for what the heck to do with it, and
ran "md5sum

Try this.
http://debian.co.nz/?page=download
However a DNS lookup of your IP number will have to resolve to within
the ".nz" domain to hook up to this site.

I've got an HP 540 printer to get rid of, now that I've

is empty, one is half full. I haven't used it for a while,
so don't know if either is OK. They can be refilled at
