That's the purpose of booking the St. Albans Resource Centre which has more
than one room.
Hey,
I am trying to install SuSE 10.0 using a network install CD and nfs.
I have done this dozens of times, but on this particular server I'm
having problems.
The server has dual onboard Intel Gigabit Ethernet NIC's. When I boot
from the CD and select an nfs install it fails to get an address v

I've just tried IEs4linux http://www.tatanka.com.br/ies4linux/index-en.html
It's a nice utility that downloads and installs a running copy of MSIE.
If you have a need for MSIE for website testing or other reasons this
runs much quicker than either vmware or qemu. Requirements are wine and

I am going to try and install minicom, at present I have it sitting in
the share folder which both windows and Linux can use, but there are
other programs in there too.
I was thinking of creating a sub directory in there such as Temp and
then putting the minicom file into it.

I've located a suitable server replacement for the CLUG wiki, and will
be moving the site over the next day or so. Please keep an eye on the
service and report any problems to the mailing list, preferably under
this thread.
Hosting of the CLUG wiki continues under the same terms as before ;-)
They seem to let us get away with it despite it not being strictly Linux :-)
I too have found it very stable and I have it on one pc as dual boot with
windoze and on another via VMplayer.

I uncommented the two respective lines and I assumed wrongly that
the on the end of the statement automatically set it to the default
setting WRONG
I changed them both to 12 and call stayed in till it timed out with an
error 16 as per normal
