Hi all!
I need to put a 2.8 MB file into two floppies for a
non-networked machine.
Any ideas on how to split the file?
Thanks in advance,
Cid.

Thanks,
Cid.

Hi All.
I've downloaded (at work) the 100 MB iso for Gentoo
1.0 to avoid downloading it from home (dial-up).
Reading the install instructions from their site, I
still have a doubt.
I want to buid everything from scratch. So, I

Hi all.
For those also on the Gentoo list, sorry for the cross

I felt the 1.0 install instructions a bit confusing

It looks to me that the step #10, the emerge rsync is
not required for people doing this kind of
installation, as well as step #11
Thanks a lot for the tips!
I'll start with the iso image. I think it is only
16MB.

Cid.

Hi All!
I've seen people using some interesting things for
email signatures. Some use some funny comments found

commands such as uptime.
That is pretty cool... How can I do that?
Thanks,
Cid.
