Correct. So all that is needed is to bore and chamfer/polish the breech chamber to fit the .308 brass. But in your grouping the 30-06 is a "long" shell, the rest are short. Has to do with the length of the action or throw of the bolt. The 06 is classed in the "magnum" length. the basics are 30
