Hi all, I'm having some problems with the rootfs: If I use an initial ram disk, such as the initramfs from ELDK4.1 to build an zImage.ielf file, I've got this log: It looks like no image have been loaded!!! I have supplied a directory, where I''ve mounted the EDLK ramdisk image, to the kernel a

Hi, You should set the Software/Software Platforms Settings/Os and Libraries/ UART16550 bus clock freq to the Bus Speed to 1 usually, this is the OPB bus speed. And in Core_Clock_Frequency you insert the PLB bus speed. You don't have to edit manually the file xparameters_ml300.h. If y

I'm also having some problem with my systemace file system. I'm working with secretlab git, and I try to mount the CF card with xsysace and with xsa, but in both cases it can't mount the rootfs: Linux/PPC load: console=ttyS0,9600 root=/dev/xsa3 rw : : : [2.06] xsysace xsysace.0: Xilinx

Hi Josep, I have read this post in linuxppc-embedded and you said that you're running linux 2.6 in the XUPV2P. I'm beginning in this world (fpga and linux) and nothing is running. I'm trying to boot kernel 2.6 on that board, but it is resisting me. I have successfully booted it up on the ML403, b

Hi, I was reading this post and a question came to my mind. When I try to compile, did I have to copy the EDK driver folder to my Xilinx 2.6 kernel tree and run the cow.tcl script generated by EDK?? Or this is unnecesay?? Grant Likely-2 wrote: > > On 1/9/08, Joachim Meyer <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>

Maybe this web http://www.cs.washington.edu/research/lis/empart/xup_ppc_linux.shtml Porting linux to XUPV2P could be usefull. I built the busybox root filesystem for an arm processor some years ago, using cross_compiler and a uclibc library. This works fine... vinay kumar-9 wrote: > > Hi All
