Dusting off those long unused neurons, I believe that pf is the Profile disk device ( I can't remember if pf is also the device for a Widget, but I think so), so those errors seem to indicate you are having problems with your disk- most likely a bad block at 7744. I have the Xenix doc from SCO, so

I believe you have to highlight the icon of the application in question on the floppy, then choose "make duplicate" or "make copy" and then drag the copy to the Profile/Widget. It's been a while since I've had to do it (knock on wood) but I seem to remember you can't drag a copy directly. Now I
