Hi Phil,
I know that the Simms are very hard to pull out of their sockets- the really
stick into their sockets. I used a plastic pull-out tool to prevent any
damage. A pull-out tool should be available in a local electronics store.
A pull out tools was necessary for pulling SIMM's in many Macintosh
Thanks for all the info...I'll try cleaning the contacts and see if
that helps. Any idea how tho remove the sims from the card...I cant
seem to pop then out?

I have recently purchased (Xmas present to myself) one of John
Woodall's X-Profile boards, as my original drives are all failing. I
