There is a sink drain tailpiece that glues to either 1.5 or 1.25 PVC. (I forget which) This provides connection to 1.5 marine hose. I used these to provide flexible joints. On my last boat there was a section of sewer hose that had a high point in it. Within a few months of replacement,
