Yeah. With Windows, drivers come on disk and sometimes they work and sometimes they don't. With Linux, either (a) the drivers are there and everything is lovely! or (b) you're out of luck. Ubuntu lets you put on some proprietary drivers, but they're not going to be persistent with the live versio

Ok, off topic but it's stopping me from building. Every time I boot ubuntu from a fresh install the internet isn't working. To fix this I have to go to All Settings > Software & Updates > Additional Drivers and enable the proprietary drivers for my network card. The thing is that on this install, w
