So what Champagne do you recommend? I know we have the great and the
good on the list and also the french (who may be actually useful
in this case). So what is the best fizz?
I prefer Veuve Clicquot, but thats me, so whats the best reasonably
priced fizz?

Charles Heidseck Mis En Cave 19xx - I prefer 1995 to 96, but they're all
stunning champagnes for the price.
Other possibles to consider are Pol Roger White Foil, and fo

I personally like Pol Roger and Moet et Chandon. But most of the Grand
Marques are pretty uniformly good but they are all rather over priced.
For cheaper fizz try the new world or spain(Cava) or other French regions.

i sometimes think along similar lines, and while i like
veuve clicquot, i realise that a similar amount can buy
you a very nice bottle of single malt or brandy
on the subject of brand
