Murali, what runlevel are you running the workstation in ? It is controlled by an entry in the lts.conf file. Look for 'RUNLEVEL = x'. I'm guessing you have runlevel 4 setup. Runlevel 4 will give you a login on the server. then, if you run 'startx', you are running it on the server, which
