Frank, I just received word from Georg Baum today that he has updated debian packages. Take a look at the first article on the LTSP.org home page for details. As for your workstation going to the gateway to get its root filesystem, are you sure the gateway isn't also handing out dhcp info ? J

Graeme, On the server, do a 'free' command and see how much swap you are using. I'll bet you are doing alot of swapping. Quickest cheapest way to fix that is add more ram. Current ram prices make that pretty easy. Also, you really should change the screen saver to be just a blank screen. Jim

Novara, If you are getting 'invalid system disk', then it simply means you didn't prepare the floppy properly, or it is a bad floppy. You are a long way from having the other problems you mentioned. When you made the floppy, how did you get the eb-5.0.5 image to the floppy ? Jim McQuillan [E
