Hy Ken,
thanks for your reply!
I checked with tcpdump if the bradcast ist going out of the client.

Now I am not getting any sound at all--even though, in

X_MOUSE_DEVICE = "/dev/psaux"
I am setting up RedHat 8.,0 as LTS and configuring some clients to run
local application. Do you know how to setup Mozilla to run locally? It
seems setting individual application is the most difficult part.
Thank you very much.

Hi,
We've got a RH9 LTSP server with two terminals. Ximian GNOME is
installed on the server. All works fine *except* that if no one is
logged into the server, the terminals can login, but are never able to
start GNOME (they hang with a blue screen).
Any suggestions appreciated.
Regards,
Cli

Are the homedirectories mounted over nfs? If yes, try to mount the
home-directories with the nolock-option.
Kind regard

The offending file may be .sversionrc. Make sure that file's deleted
from your skel. OOo will create a new one automatically for each new
user the first time they run it. Otherwise every for every new user OOo
will use the home directory of the user specified in your template
.sversionrc. For users
