I'm newbee in LTSP and I whish to know if I could migrate a novell 4
with 50 DOS clients to LTSP with 50 DOS clients and also gain
perfomance? Do the server has to be a Dual Processored or a simgle
processored PIV is enough to do the job?
Thanks in advance,

Hi,
Thanks again, Julius, for the advice! The problem is solved now. I
actually used redhat-config-network to swap around the network cards.
The performance is now where it should be.
BTW, the keyboard problem went away when I edited lts.conf and changed
the default keyboard. :-}
Cheers,

I don't have specific advice on the palm sharing, but if you are
deploying LTSP3, I would suggest having a Redhat 7.0 (7.1?) box on the
network somewhere for building software for the clients, since that is
the build machine used for LTSP3. Check the website for the exact
version.

Have you tried used esdplay on the server? Kaboodle is a
KDE app, which tries to use the artsd sound daemon by default. I
renamed my artsd file and created a wrapper script that "wraps" artsd
into esd by calling "esddsp artsd.old". Sometimes I get some strange
