Check /etc/SuSE-release ... all other YaST stuff is under /var/lib/YaST2 LTS 4 uses XFree86 v. 4.3.99 GOT IT WORKING!!! Use "vesa" for the video driver. Or play around with others if you want... But this should work for you. I wonder if there is a bug in XFree86 4.3.99 for the older chips. It

Hi, Thanks again, Julius, for the advice! The problem is solved now. I actually used redhat-config-network to swap around the network cards. The performance is now where it should be. BTW, the keyboard problem went away when I edited lts.conf and changed the default keyboard. :-} Cheers, J
