For the record, PXE works fine with "atftpd" (Advanced TFTPD).

Thanks

I found a way to install tftp. The problem that was
happening is that the RH9 package for tftp daemon is
called "tftp-server" and not "tftpd" ... I downloaded
it and it worked.
Anyway, thanks for helping me!

Short story:
I'd like to get hold of the kernel module parameters (and any documentation I
can get) for the cx5530 sound driver module. Seems someone added it to LTSP

really like to set, but the one in LTSP doesn't have
Your dhcp configuration appears to be right.
But I think that for PXE booting you need to use tftpd-hpa(I saw this on
a README) instead of common tftpd.
In filename, I've never used "/lts/2.4.26-ltsp-2/pxelinux.0", I do

I've got IDE Zip drives working on the LTSP clients. The tricky part
was coping with devfs.
Standard vfat zip disks have a MSDOS partition table with the main
data in partition #4. Initially, I set the device to /dev/hdc4.
However, this doesn't work because devfs doesn't create hdc4 until a

Hi,
I have problems with the initial DHCP connection and would appreciate any
help.
The client has a 3c905B-TX NIC and Managed Boot Agent (MBA) set to PXE.
When booting the client, it waits about one minute at the "DHCP.." prompt,
before it finally gives up:
PXE-E53: No boot filename received
If you are using a Debian system(or find a way to install in your
distro), try to install tftpd-hpa(runs standalone) instead of the common
tftpd(runs inside inetd)
