Hi
I have one client that needs to be wireless.
To deal with only one issue at a time, I have made that client boot from
flash, and if I use a network cable everything works
(root in flash, ram disk on /tmp)
NOW
wireless card is cisco-350, so no kernel/support issues occur.

I'm getting an error message when trying to boot

I am hoping to compile a ltsp kernel with alsa modules...
Here is my error when I try to compile the kernel (I am guessing its because
I'm using a new version of a compiler)
How can I keep my new compiler but also compile this old version of the kernel?
Here is the error I get.

I was wondering if anyone had any success in compiling the kernel with Alsa

As well, I'm trying to compile the 2.4.24 kernel but im getting errors.
I think the errors are from compiling with a newer version of gcc. Does
anyone know how to compile the kernel with the new compiler or h
I have been using Microsoft Services fo Unix 2.0 for years to host the NFS
files for my ltsp clients. I recently upgraded to SFU 3.5 (Which is a free download.
I think that it is based on GPL software?).
With the new version of SFU, I had a problem with connectivity between my

The easiest way is to use the build script in the ltsp-kernel 3.0
package available from sourceforge. I believe the built kernel will
be compatible with any LTSP v
That's certainly more horsepower than my client. I'm not running
Firefox, but Mozilla 1.4.2 is performing very nicely. I'm on an
Intranet with older 10mb/s network cards. Haven't enabled the NFS swapping.

Hi,
For some tests I'm trying to do, I want to run xterm on my thin client.
I'm using LTSP 4.1 but when I run "xterm" with the LD_LIBRARY_PATH set
to /usr/X11R6/lib I get the error message :
cannot find libexpat.so.0
I am pretty sure that I have installed all relevant LTSP packages.
Any help
I started on my first K12LTSP lab setup this week and I am having an issue with the
first client. To the best of my knowledge the server is setup properly. The client is
a Compaq Deskpro 4000 and I am using a Kingston NIC (KNE111TX . . . i think) with the
tulip driver boot disk. The initial star
I have recently installed LTSP 4.1 on a FC2 server and I am trying to
set up a PXE laptop as an X Terminal.
I have successfully installed and regularly used LTSP 3 running on the
same server (but running RH9 at the time) with the same laptop and the
laptop will run FC2 without any problems or spec
Hi

Hope anyone can help me.
