I've had problems with 9.2 and tftp, i solved them changing from tftpd to
atftpd, it comes on your CDs.

Goto network services, find tftpd (the last option), start the server from
within YAST. Accept all default choices.

it is Gnome, and the the option: Sound an audible bell was checked.
After unchecking it, the message disappeared,.
