I try to configure a neoware thin client using ltsp. everuthing goes
fine untill this line in the log:
init: Entering runlevel: 5
after that, the monitor becomes dark as if no signal was detected and I
cannot do anything else than switching off the TC!

The thing I think is so cool about it is that my server does all the
work and the terminal is just a dumb box to plug the cables into. As
LTSP admin's we all know this and that is nothing new but when I open
the box to show people they are shocked to see the CPU fan does not turn

Yes, this is quite easy to do if your Samba PDC is using LDAP as it's
back end.
Once your user accounts (objectClass posixAccount ) are stored in LDAP
