I was surprised to get no answer to my proposed patch for handling selection
of local devices till I found, that attachments to the list seem to get silently
skipped. At least in the archives at sourceforge, it's missing. So I try it
again inline.

Asus Eee PC 4G does, I do not see any reason why not Acer One? I think
any modern PC/Laptop does PXE.

We are running Ubuntu (Hardy 8.04) Version 2.6.24-19-server with LTSP-5 at
our school in Rondebosch, Cape Town.
One of my thin client PC's won't resolve the X. It remains fuzzy. I have
tried all the examples in the lts.conf file to no avail. Any ideas out
