first check out if you really need gphoto2, or if the camera could work als

Hi Shan,
I'm not totaly shure, about the 845GLVA, but the 845GV chipset uses the
braodcom nic, wich needs the b44 kernel-driver. This driver is in kernel
2.4.23 only as experimental code available. So, it could be that you need to
build your own kernel, to get this solved.

the problem starts, with the configuration for compilation.
Most apps i compiled, had a configure script, which could be

I had the same problem, and solved it with:
ldconfig -r lbe/opt/ltsp/i386

but it works for me

Hello Jerry
First of all: everything depends on what you want to do... or better to run,
and how fast it should be for the user...
If you want to use the WS in X-mode and KDE/GNOME you need to have
minimum 16 MB of ram in your WS, it generally works also with
8MB, but this really isn't fun! in

to say it short: debian is perfect if you want to have a
most free and
most stable server!

Hi Sigurd,
There are different way's of synchronize your PDA, depending
of the OS of your sysytem, and to what you want to sync!
Generally to get usb working, you need to insert something like this
in your lts.conf:
MODULE_01 = "uhci"
but i think that wount help you with st
9 "NIC=module.o";
instead of module.o you need to insert the filename of the module
you need for your network card. they could be found here:
/opt/ltsp/i386/lib/modules/2.4.19-ltsp-1/kernel/drivers/net
in my case for the RTL8129
option option-129"NIC=8139too";

Hi
I've a problem with a client which has an on-bord network

I made a etherboot disk, witch finds the right cark, and so
the kernel is downloaded an so on...
but then it seems as if the client tries to use the on-bord
card and then cause there is nothing, the kernel
I have a problem with a compaq prosignia client.
The hardware of this model is very special and so
i had no luck getting the standart ltsp-kernel or
self build kernels runing on this machine.
I dont know why but the kernel from the suse 7.3
instalation disks is somehow working.
