For me the only way to get this to work was using the USE_NBD_SWAP
paramater, en set it to yes.
This solved all video problems for my i810 clients.

yesterday I tried to setup LTSP 4.2 on one of my production servers,
but I was running into trouble using local disk access.
Only the root user could manage to setup his shares. All other users
failed.
I'm using SMBLDAP as backend server with home dirs mounted over nfs.

I'm having trouble to access a local cdrom drive in my clients.
I'm using the automounnt methode, with the two LDA-Automount scripts.
Strange thing: I can access my floppy drive and use any file on the
disk.
But when trying to use the cdromdrive, it just starts spinning for 3

What are your experiences with web/mail serving?
(our schools in belgium do not have T3 lines ;-) we only have ADSL
with 384 Kb upload)

Has anyone a solution to get podcasts running on a Ltsp client?
We have a podcast-based schoolradio which runs fine in iTunes on Mac
and PC.

Yet all is working fine at our new install base in school,
but i do have a big problem with ooo.
All my pupils use classlogins, ie multiple logins per class
(3 computers using ex. klas6b/klas6b as login pas)
Everytghing works fine, except ooo.

as i was installing lstp in our school I ran into problems getting
sound to work.
I got permission denied errors on /dev/dsp,
or when i got it to work for one user, all other users could not get
any sound on there machine...
both on fc3 en fc4

as I will be setting up our whole primary school in LTSP (pilot
project n Belgium I suppose :-)
I'm in need of some advice.
The setup i'll be using will depend on a win 2003 ADS (auth and
files) as this has been the only addmitance I had to make upon my
staff board. ( I c
