I have several ltsp terminals running here in my home, and galeon has
been my browser of choice. My wife, however, has found a site that uses
java, and she tends to leave her browser open to that site almost
continually. The two java processes that stay running tend to suck the
life out of the se
The video card on one of my terminals will not work with XFree86 4.1,
therefore I've installed XF86_SVGA. XF86_SVGA works great on this
terminal under LTSP-3, but LTSP-4 complains that it cannot find
"/etc/build_x3_cfg".
Where can I find "build_x3_cfg" for LTSP-4? Thanks!

I'm using a D-Link DE-220E (NE2000-compatible) adapter, and using an Etherboot
floppy (eb-5.0.7-ne.lzdsk image) to boot over the network.

There's no selection in the BIOS to change this setting. As additional

I've been successfully using LTSP 3.0.5 (on Debian Woody) on my home
network for several months. I obtained another "terminal" to add to the
system, but am having problems getting it to start up. I've tried two
different kernels (vmlinuz-2.4.9-ltsp-6 & vmlinuz-2.4.19-ltsp-1), but
the boot always

Thanks for the pointer.

I'm in the process of converting the computers on my home network from
standalone PCs to LTSP terminals. Previously, I could limit the times
that my kids could access email, web and instant messaging thru a
combination of firewall rules and the squid proxy (based upon the IP
addresses of their co
