And... i would build the PC myself! Asus servers are good, but you lose

My first contribution to the list :-)
I think for S3, you should use X4. Try:
XSERVER = VESA
if the card is the common S3 series. If you have a VIRGE, try:
XSERVER = S3VIRGE
That isn't a what you should do, but a what I'm doing here :P
