Hi,
Took the latter section of the lts.conf from a web post. Not sure what
Screen_07,_08,_09 are supposed to be doing.
Tried to patch ldm but got same problem as described in attached post.
Might just wait for an update to the ltsp client before addressing auto
login again.
Thanks

Hi All,
I tried to auto login using the following lts.conf but system hangs at
the gray X. Is their something wrong here?
[Default]
## X11 driver, e.g. auto, vesa, i810
XSERVER = auto
#X_COLOR_DEPTH = ""
X_COLOR_DEPTH= 16
#X_VIDEO_RAM = ""
#XF86
I feel like such a moron, but I don't know how to update the libpango
binaries. I is complaining about needing version 1.18.3, but only
having 1.18.2

Pardon my newbie question, but what are typical values for the
LDM_SESSION and LDM_LANGUAGE. I have tried us_US.UTF-8 for the
language, but I have no idea what the session name is. I assume the
LDM_SERVER is the IP of the LTSP server (since I am running everything
on one server).

I don't have the DIRECTX line in my lts.conf file and I see the same

Hello group,
I have set up a new Edubuntu 7.10 server and have local devices working
okay with the fix provided by Andreas Rudin. Thank you very much, Mr.
Rudin!! I now have two issues to address:
#1) The client logins are extremely slow, as I have seen mentioned
elsewhere. From the LDM log
