Stephen, Runlevel 3 is generally used for diagnostic purposes. It gives you a root shell on the workstation, which probably is not what you want. What you really need is Runlevel 5, but then you need to launch the ICA program on the server. I haven't used the ICA program, so I can't comment on

Hi, I have an LTSP server running Redhat7.1 and a couple of diskless Pentium machines. I boot the machines in runlevel 3, but was wondering how I can then get them to load X and go straight into the ICA client??   I don't know much about Redhat and ltsp, any help would be greatly appreciate
