Yes, you can run it with 8mb of ram, but you
will definately need to turn on NFS-SWAP.
And, it will be slow. But, at least it will run.

I had it with 16MB but it was not that fast especially when starting
something beyond a terminal ;-)
8MB worked as well, but you should use NFS-Swapping!
