As far as conflict with the network, it may be because LTSP activates the DHCP server on the terminal server to give each of the clients their IP addresses, and also to pass extra information required to download the kernel over the network, as well as the 'root' of the ltsp tree. If your rou

It seems that your server is not answering XDMCP requests. Have you enabled XDMCP in your display manager (xdm/kdm/gdm) and made sure your LTSP server is not firewalling against it? This might fix your problem. You mentioned that you're not getting a login screen, but you didn't say what you *ar
