I don't know how far you'll get but the udev rules make that happen. I suppose you could try moving them into the ltsp tree. Since the program expects the device at /dev/hiddev0 you could probably disable the udev rules on the server and use a symlink in /dev/ to point the one in the ltsp tre

I am trying to get SmartBoard's software to work using a terminal. I have it working with a laptop running Linux. When I plug the board into the laptop it creates a /dev/hiddev0 device. When I plug it into the terminal it recognizes the device, but doesn’t create a hiddev device. I have usb
