In fact all the sample file are not copied where they should be.
They only are created in the sample directory and I had to copy them
manually.
Now things are working fine.
I'll look at underrstanding and modifying the suse.sh in order to do it
automatically, but later...

I just installed Suse7.3 and I already have to modify some installation
script in order to try to get the dhcp.conf.sample...
All is running fine (I think) but I can't get any dhcp.conf.sample file
created.
I'll have a look tonight but if s.o. already solve this ?

That cannot be the solution because this entry is already available.
Here dhcpd.conf with the LTSP modifications therein:
[---beginning of /etc/dhcpd.con
Hi,
both dhcpd version , two stable and three rc , are included in SuSE 7.3.
You just have to change the DAEMON_BIN variable in /etc/rc.d/dhcpd into
DAEMON_BIN=/usr/sbin/dhcpd-2.
That's the way i did after different trouble with dhcpd 3.0.
good luck,
bastian

Try putting this line in your dhcpd.conf file:
ddns-update-style ad-hoc;
if that doesn't work try __
ddns-update-style none;
remember to look at /var/log/messages for errors
good luck
