Thanks Dave, problme solved, in fact I did construct a Linux 7.2 VMWare
machine from scratch and installed VMWare tools, I then ripped of the
VMWare XF86Config and the XF86_VMWare and I got my 1600x1200 resolution
fine ;-)
Another topic though, I am trying now to setup Win98 (I know Doze stinks
.
Forget the XF86CONFIG_FILE option and try this:
X_MODE_800x600 = 62.10 800 900 1000 1100 600 700 800 900 -hsync -vsync
This the only option I use and it works fine for me.
