I've just put the following into my
/var/lib/tftpboot/ltsp/amd64/lts.conf file and rebooted the fat client.
It didn't automatically login, it also didn't change the hostname of
the system to 'foo'.

SCREEN_02=shell
SCREEN_07=ldm
[08:00:27:0C:E0:3E]
HOSTNAME=foo
LDM_AUTOLOGIN=true

I think you need [mac-address] for a fat client. This mine, LTSP-PNP
server in Virtualbox. Asus Eee PC 701 and 900 as a fat client.
