Arif, The XFree86 4.1.0 support for the S3 video chipsets is pretty bad. You might try using an XFree86 3.3.6 Xserver. Download and install the ltsp_x336_s3 and/or the ltsp_x336_s3v packages. Then, in the lts.conf file, try setting XSERVER to either 'XF86_S3' or 'XF86_S3V'. If the XSERVER
