applications like Open Office.org, xDOSemu, Octave and LinuxCAD. Now our
problem was on the client side, the Open Office applications run smoothly on

souloution:
vi /usr/share/config/kdm/kdmrc
change:
[Xdmcp]
Enable=false
to:
[Xdmcp]
Enable=true
service dm restart #or reboot the server.
xhost + #disable acl on the x server.
