Unless your mobile device runs Lubuntu, this mailing list has nothing to do specifically to wireless tethering. Lubuntu in the traditional computer should allow to connect through a Wifi device to a wireless network if it's present and properly configured. Nothing specific to wireless tethering.

Two desktop computers, both connected to the same wifi. Desktop 1 is windows 7. An Epson L210 is connected to this machine via cable. Desktop 2 is Lubuntu 16.04.1. This machine can print with the Epson L210 (which is connected to Desktop 1 via cable). I suppose this is possible thru the instal

The following USB wireless dongles work for me out-of-the-box: Netgear G54 wireless USB adapter: WG111 Netgear N150 wireless USB adapter: WNA1100 Linksys wireless G USB adapter: WUSB54GC I'd like to add that most (if not all) Quallcom Atheros based wireless cards and dongles work for me.
