Is there a way in Lubuntu 12.04 to not show window contents when
dragging and resizing? Some window managers ahve this option and I
prefer it, wondered if it's possible with Lubuntu?
Thanks

Hi,
Sometimes a by default truncated name for a program in a desktop
launcher/shortcut is very long and as I mouse over it I'm use to seeing
a tooltip expanding the full name. I think there are also other cases
when many items are shown in lists/managers and a tooltip expands out
the name and migh

Hi,
Using Lubuntu 12.04. I notice Firefox when scrolling - the scrolling
itself is smooth but the content (say page text) wavers a bit while
scrolling. I'm not sure what the word is for what I see - I'd say maybe
the refreshing is slightly choppy while scrolling. I don't notice this

Hi,
I have a USB Wifi interface with a RealTek 8187 chip. Lubuntu does not
recognize it and ifconfig -a does not show it. I have never been able to
make recent version of any Ubuntu flavor work well with this inferface.
But it usually at least recognizes it. My Lubuntu does not recognize it,

Hi,
Just installed 13.04 and then mediabuntu. I have a video rendering

Watching DVDs the colors are wrong - much to saturated and orange,
Watching flash on youtube on FF - it's unusable, broken, the vid renders

Is it a driver problem? Is there a way
I could be wrong but:
I think it's in the Synaptic Package Manager. IMO try the driver that
says "Nvidia-173". Then reboot ...

sudo service lightdm restart
It fixes it. I have to go into another console so manage to get a

I tried using rc.local and added the line se
