Hi,
from re-rading the thread I find a few people who prefer confuence and
many who don't really care as long as it works. I'll ask infra for a
confluence instance shortly.

Confluence has some fun plugins:
It also supports alternative templates for the output, I don't believe Moin has
the same capabilities. There is an upgraded code macro plugin which leads me to

Hi,
the proposal says a new Wiki should be set up. There are two choices of
Wiki on ASF infrastructure right now: Moin and Confluence. Anybody who
has added to the propsal or the current wiki[1] has already interacted
with Moin, an example of Confluence would be the wiki of the Buildr[2

I neglected to add, I think you should go ahead and build the wiki
pages when you have time and are motivated to do so, and not let the
idea that they will be moving cause you to defer that work to later.
Migration, while troublesome, is less bad than not having that
documentation at all.

It's unclear at this point. My recommendation in the proposal was the
move it over, because at that time the Wiki was empty.
Either way, I believe the page syntax should be the same, and so
moving the pages over wouldn't be too terrible.
Thanks,
Troy

Does anyone know if the wiki will move once / if we get taken into the
incubator? I'd like to start doing a bunch of updating, but if we have to port
it all over to a new wiki space for the incubator, it's kind of pointless

supposedly the wiki used to be:http://wiki.apache.org/lucene.net/ according
to http://incubator.apache.org/projects/lucene.net.html but thats
ere: http://wiki.apache.org/jakarta-lucene/lucene.Net, and
asked that it be added to the general page. I'll try to get this updated rather
quickly here.
Of course anyone can contribute as weel.

Hi everyone,
I'm really happy at the sustained discussion regarding the future of
Lucene.Net, and I just wanted to chime in my "me too!" to help in any
way I can.
I also thought that summarizing the conclusions reached over the past
few days in a wiki page might help guide the di
