That is currently not possible. The only method we support for MDT
expansion is the "backup/recreate MDT/restore" process.

i'am trying to compile the 1.6.5 sources against a vanilla-2.6.22.19 kernel.
Distrib: gentoo 2008
- setting the links and patching the kernel as described with "quilt push -av"
ok.
- compiling and booting the kernel ok.
- configuring lustre:
./configure --disable-liblustre --enable-quota
Is there any word on when the IB packages might be making it up to the download
site for 1.6.5? As had been previously noted, they were missing when the rest
of 1.6.5 was pushed.

CentOS 5 linux x86_64 linux box.
We had a hardware problem that caused the underlying ext3 partition
table to completely blow up. This is resulting in only three of five

For those who are asking, I was able to build OFED 1.3.1 against the
1.6.5 release (after some hacking of the process). Considering centos
5.2 (with OFED 1.3) isn't released yet, someone might find it useful.
Of course no warranties or guarantees :).
