I just played through it. Isn't a Ciaccona actually played rather fast? Non necessarily. I've played it at approx. 120 (my standard speed for Chaconnes). Then several of the movements in 16th are not clear. When played slower (say at 80 which the Adagio would suggest) the 8th don't work
