Hi,
it is a guitar-lute, but that doesn't say anything on the age of the belly.
In fact some guitar-lutes have been built by using old bodys.
But from the pictures you won't be able to say anything exact. It could be or
couldn't be ...

Hi Peter!
Michiel Niessen and I have recorded all of Terzi for two lutes (on a', g'
and d'-lutes). Should be released this year on Turtle records. I'll tell the

Hi all,
Looks a lot like a really nicely done guitar-lute. I have a number of them and
the peg head and apparent almost black color of the ribs are the only 'unusual
for guitar-lute' aspects.

Oh yes, and a follow up to my last email. I know they are definitely in stock
at the following Parisian bookseller's - and I'm sure he'd be very happy to
ship:

Absolutely - there is an edition by 'Publications de la Societe Francaise de
Musicologie' (editeur: Heugel et Compagnie) which is still available (at least
in Paris). It is actually great to have, since it is a (relatively) reliable -
and cheap! - source for about 200 airs de cour.
Best,

Would someone point me in the direction of an available edition containing this
song from Besard w/ tablature? If it is not in print, would someone be kind
enough to send me a copy?
Thanks in advance.

How are you so certain, Mathias? Do you know this piece itself? At first
just found this

whatever the neck and sound board may be, the belly once upon a time was
of a baroque lute.

Dear All,
It might also help in those pieces where the final chord looks like a
first inversion:
___
___d___
___d___
___a___
___
___c___
because it would be easy to play just the upper octave of the 6th course.
Best wishes,
Martin

Hello everyone!
Three questions:
1) Anyone who have any news about Mr Marco Pesci´s forthcoming CD?
2) Anyone who has planned a recording entirely devoted to Daniel Bacheler?
3) Anyone who knows anything about more forthcoming Terzi-recordings besides
the two wonderful CD´s which already exists
