Lundgren's baroque lute companion is a great source of music but
irritatingly does not list composers, even when he knew who they were.
There is a passagaglia in G major (pg 198) from Kremsmunster L83b
that is quite nice (ok, I've never met a chaconne or passacaglia that
I didn't like!).
The author is the famous Anonymous

I've got all the vihuela settings and I'm familiar with them, but I want to
select a number of pieces, for what I'd like to have all

last year I started a very similar enquiry concerning Claudin de
Sermisy lute intabulations. The best hint I've got came from Jean-Marie
Poirier suggesting to check the following catalogue:
Howard Mayer Brown, Instrumental Music printed before 1600: a
bibliography, iUniverse, 2000
Perhaps indications of forte and piano, of which many pieces in Gehema
and Werl abound (both mss. middle of 17th century), pertain to this?
Gehema has French dances with these indications, and if you try, the
music will result in utterly pashenat 8) performance.

I have bought drawings of instruments on that list but directly from
the museum. I never could quite trust or understand how to use the
CIMCIM? As to value, they are very valuable especially if you can get
notes to go with them. For example built as a renaissance later
